DESIGN FOR THE GOOD began in 2020 with a simple idea: to turn personal connections and creative resources into meaningful support for communities in need.

The organisation’s first initiatives emerged in Sri Lanka during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting local families, children and animals. What began as direct support gradually developed into a broader approach: bringing together art, philanthropy, entrepreneurship and people to fund and develop international humanitarian projects.

In 2023, the organisation hosted its first charity exhibition in Zurich, creating a platform where art and social action could meet. Since then, it has developed an international network of volunteers and local partners and expanded its work to education, community development and humanitarian initiatives in Sri Lanka and Kenya.

Today, DESIGN FOR THE GOOD connects people, resources and ideas to develop projects with long-term social impact - combining creative engagement with practical action on the ground.
